| Review Notes | IKEA explicitly excludes light bulbs from it's limited warranty cover in the USA, so zero warranty for US purchases. In Australia guarantees cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law but the duration is not stated. Product package carries C-Tick and CE approval labels. Light has the best CRI of all 240V LED globes tested to date, and second best CRI across all tested LED products after Soraa's Vivid 2700K MR16. Leading edge and universal dimmer circuit were both tested with no visible flicker, where dimming range varied slightly between dimming types though not significantly. Dimming performance was measured using a 32E450UDM universal dimmer (see results below). Globe does run hot however, so that might reduce its reliability. |

Graph notes: Shows the intensity of the light when viewed from different angles. Normal omni-directional globes have a fairly constant output all the way around (excepting directly above). Downlights have a narrow range at the bottom in which the light is emmited, this determines their angle.

The green line represents the relative absolute strength of the light at each frequency, while the red line represents what the typical human eye would see. The human eye is most sensitive to green light, but much less sensitive to purples and deep reds.

Graph notes: Shows variation in light output over 1/10th of a second, with relative light output on the Y axis and time on the X Axis. Measured with a photodiode connected to an Oscilloscope. Ideally the yellow line should be flat. Low frequency high amplitude waveforms mean there is a possibility of noticeable flicker, but sensitivity to flicker varies between people.
